Activity Overview
Using the three most recent, currently FY22-24, Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports (ACFRs) available on our website (www.ihda.org) (www.ihda.org/financial-accountability-reports) and relevant information from our most recent Biennial Report (www.ihdacy22-23.com), you will complete the following tasks.
• Dynamic Dashboard Creation: Create a dashboard in Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or a tool of your
choice to visualize key financial metrics from IHDA’s ACFRs. Focus on trends in revenues, expenses, and fund balances incorporating visuals such as graphs or charts.
• Trending Analysis: Perform a year-over-year analysis of key financial data to identify significant variances, trends, and their potential causes.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze administrative and program expenses, categorize them for clarity. Highlight areas where costs have increased or decreased and recommend opportunities for optimization.
• Financial Modeling: Build a basic financial model forecasting revenues, expenses, and fund balances for the next three years. Use reasonable assumptions based on data from the ACFR and Biennial Report. Include a sensitivity analysis to account for different scenarios.
Submission Requirements
• Submit your completed work in PDF or PowerPoint format, clearly structured and in no more than ten pages/slides via email to Human Resources using the following email address: [email protected]
• Be prepared to walk us through your analysis and recommendations during the follow-up interview. You may use your submission or your native system (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) when presenting during the follow-up interview.
