ASSESSMENT 3: PORTFOLIO
INSTRUCTIONS
Information to assist you to successfully complete this assessment:
· There are three tasks that you are required to complete
· Each task should be completed during the assigned week.
· When you refer to theories and concepts learned in class, it is important to reference them. This includes in-text citations and a reference list. These must comply with APA 7 formatting style. If you are unsure how to do this, you can refer to the Quick Referencing Guide for Business Students that is located on Blackboard.
· The main source of information for this task is the assigned textbook and this source is compulsory. PPTs should not referenced as all information on the PPTs can be found in the textbook or in the suggested sources.
· Students wishing to use any other sources are required to attain permission from their teacher.
· This assessment is based on your observations and opinions. You are encouraged to write in first person.
· This assessment requires you to annotate images. Please see the next page for examples of how image annotation may look. (Please do not copy these examples, they do not relate to your assessment).
· This assessment contains the following minimum formatting requirements:
o A cover page
o Page numbers
o Headings
o Each answer must also include the full text of each question
o In-text citations
o A reference list

Global Business
Visit EzyMart on campus
1. Take at least four photos of this business and add them to your assessment.
2. Analyse your images and annotate them to indicate what each image is demonstrating and how it relates to words and concepts from the Global Business topic.
3. Using your images, explain at least two ways that you believe this business is demonstrating any of the Global Business theories and concepts that you learned in class this week – these must be ideas that appear in the PowerPoint and/or the workbook.
4. If EzyMart wanted to open stores in New Zealand, what approach to global business would you recommend and why?
Please do not take photos of staff or other customers without their permission. Please do not ask staff members to answer questions about this business.
